Coming on February 24th: HTC Desire 8

We love HTC and its devices, and if you're a fan of this company, you might be interested its upcoming smartphone that should be announced in a few days.



HTC Desire 8 is a mid range smartphone that comes with 5.5-inch display and 1280 x 720 or 1920 x 1080 resolution. This device will use 5-megapixel front camera for video calls, but there's also a 13-megapixel camera on the back. HTC Desire 8 should come with 1GB or 2GB of RAM and unknown quad-core processor. In addition, this smartphone also supports dual SIM, so you can easily switch between your personal and business phone.

HTC Desire 8 sounds interesting, but information about this device is pretty vague at the moment, so there's no information regarding the availability, pricing or exact hardware specs. On the bright side, HTC plans to officially announce this device on February 24th so we will have more information about HTC Desire 8 then.

Vivo Xplay 3S delayed to the end of February

Vivo Xplay 3S was announced as world's first smartphone with QHD display, and if you're looking forward to Vivo Xplay 3S's release, you might be interested in this information.



Vivo Xplay 3S comes with 6-inch QHD display, and it is powered by 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 MSM8974AB chipset. Regarding the memory, this smartphone comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage space. Vivo Xplay 3S comes with 13-megapixel rear camera with an aperture of f/1.8, but there's also a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls. Additional features include 3,200mAh battery and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system.

Vivo Xplay 3S sounds like a great device, but unfortunately this device has been delayed several times, probably due to supply of QHD displays. On the other hand, Vivo has announced that they plan to release Vivo Xplay 3S before the end of the February, so we're keeping our eyes open for the official launch.

Rumor: Huawei Ascend D3 to be launched at MWC 2014

We cover devices from Huawei from time to time, and if you are a fan of Huawei, you'll be pleased to know that we have some new information regarding the Huawei Ascend D3.



According to the rumors, Huawei Ascend D3 should use 1.8GHz Kirin 920 octa-core chipset, but bear in mind that this is not "true" octa-core processor, instead it uses technology based on ARM's big.LITTLE architecture that is used by Samsung's Exynos 5 series of octa-core chipsets. As for other specs, rumor has it that we'll see 5-inch Full HD display, a 16-megapixel rear camera and a metal back. As you can see, information about this device is scarce at the moment, but we expect to find out more soon.

Huawei Ascend D3 sounds great, and according to the rumors, we might see this device officially launched at this year's MWC that will take place at the end of this month.
