Razer Nabu: Smart bracelet with text notifications

Posted: 18 Feb 2014 10:00 PM PST

Razer is a well-known manufacturer of gaming peripherals, but it seems that this company is also working on other devices such as smart bracelets.

Razer Nabu is something between sport band and smartwatch, and it comes with small OLED display that lets you receive text-notifications. Unlike a smartwatch, this device doesn't come with bulky design, and it can last up to 10 days on a single charge, which is quite impressive. There are some advanced features as well, such as automatic Facebook friend request when you shake someone's hand. We have to mention that Nabu is an open platform, so we expect to see applications from 3rd party developers as well.

Razer Nabu sounds interesting, and it's so much more than a sport band since it comes with display and notification system. Regarding the price, this device is priced at $49, but we don't know whether this device is available for sale.
