ZenFone 4, 5 and 6: New smartphones from Asus announced Posted: 09 Feb 2014 10:01 PM PST Over the years we saw some great devices from Asus, and this Taiwanese company has announced its new smartphones, so let's have a closer look at them. Asus has announced three ZenFone models, and ZenFone 4 is a 4-inch model that comes with 1.2GHz Intel Z2520 processor. Additional specs include 1GB RAM, 5-megapixel camera on the back, 0.3-megapixel camera for video calls, and support for microSD cards up to 64GB. ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 6 both come with 1280×720 HD IPS display, 2GHz Intel Z2580 processor, 1GB RAM and 2-megapixel cameras for video calls. As for the differences, ZenFone 5 comes with 8-megapixel rear camera and 2,050mAh battery while the ZenFone 6 comes with 13-megapixel camera and 3,230mAh battery. Also, since there's a size difference, the 5-inch model weighs 144g while the 6-inch model weighs 200g. As for the software, all three phones will run on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, but we expect to Android 4.4 KitKat update eventually.
