Turn your iPhone into smartwatch with Smartlet

Posted: 07 Jan 2014 10:00 PM PST

Smartwatches are interesting devices, but let's face it, they are not smartphones and they have their limitations, so today we have a device that will allow you to turn your smartphone into a smartwatch.

Smartlet is a simple device, and it will allow you to wear your iPhone on your wrist and use it as a smartwatch. This device uses patent pending unidirectional button locking mechanism that locks your iPhone in a place allowing you to slide it out when you need it. When your iPhone is secured on your wrist you can use it just as you would use your smartwatch but with the bigger screen and more hardware power. As for availability, Smartlet will be available in red/black and white when it's released.

If you already have an iPhone, but you don't want to buy smartwatch as well, Smartlet might be just what you need, although it might feel bit weird to wear your iPhone on your wrist due to its size and weight. Smartlet is currently a Kickstarter project, and if you pledge $29 you can pre-order one and get it in February.
