Coinstar gets full PayPal integration: Upload and withdraw money right from a Coinstar machine Posted: 26 Mar 2013 11:48 PM PDT Coinstar is useful especially if you have some change lying around, but now, it seems that Coinstar has expanded its offer, and it's fully compatible with PayPal. Coinstar has announced that you'll be able to perform PayPal transactions from Coinstar machines, and there are three ways how you can do that. Now, you can add coins or even paper currency to your PayPal, send money to another PayPal account or withdraw money from your PayPal account right from a Coinstar machine. We have to mention that there are certain limitations, and you can only deposit up to $500 each month. Also we have to point out that there's a standard 9.8% coin-counting fee when adding coins to your PayPal account. Also, all transactions up to $300 come with $3 fee, and there's a $6 fee for transactions that are over $300. Oh, and withdrawing money also comes with a $3 fee. This sounds like a great combination, especially if you don't want to add that change to your bank account just so you can upload it to PayPal, or if you want to make a quick withdrawal directly from your PayPal, but keep in mind Coinstar's fees and limitations. uChek for iPhone lets you perform urinalysis test on your own Posted: 26 Mar 2013 11:03 PM PDT Checking your health is quite important, but if you don't have time to deal with doctors or waiting in lines and medical bills, today we have an iPhone app that will help you monitor your health on your own. This app is called uChek, and it will allow you to perform urinalysis test on your iPhone right in the comfort of your home. In order to perform urinalysis test, you'll have to use iPhone's camera in order to read tints from urine dip stick tests. Although this application sounds useful, your results might vary, depending on your lighting conditions. uChek was developed by Mumbai-based Myshkin Ingawale, an MIT grad, and currently this app is going through test phases in Mumbai hospital, and it's still waiting for Apple's green light before it becomes available on App Store. uChek sounds interesting, especially if you don't want to deal with doctors, but we have to ask ourselves how accurate this app is and the benefit one would gain from knowing what’s wrong with their urine. Regarding the price, this app should cost $99, while the test strips should cost $20. There is no official message on which iPhones will be compatible but likely iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 will not be a problem.
