Rumor: Windows 9 coming in November 2014?

We talked a lot about Windows 8 in the past, and speaking of Windows, latest rumor has it that we might see Windows 9 in the near future.



This rumor comes from Win8China, and in the past they have released several accurate rumors about Windows 8, so they might be onto something with this one. According to them, Microsoft is working hard on Windows 9, and it should be launched on November 2014. In addition, beta should be available for testing someday in January. This might be true since rumor has it that Microsoft is planning to release its new operating systems on yearly basis. However, the question remains do we really need another Windows release so soon? Most users are still using Windows 7 or even Windows XP, since they aren't pleased with Windows 8, but who knows, maybe Windows 9 will do better than its predecessor.

One thing’s for certain, these are just rumors, and there has been no official information from Microsoft regarding Windows 9 so far.

Latest from Samsung: Galaxy Note 8.0

Samsung has been busy, and it has announced new addition to its Galaxy line, so let's see what Samsung has to offer this this new device.



Galaxy Note 8.0 is a 8-inch 1280×800 WXGA HD resolution device, but despite it large screen, it can work as a phone and make phone calls or send text messages. Just like older models, Galaxy Note 8.0 comes with S Pen and Air View feature, so you can preview photos, videos and emails, simply by hovering your S Pen over the screen.

We also have to mention that you can use S Pen to control the physical menu, which is a novelty. As for the hardware, this device is powered by Samsung's Exynos 4 1.6GHz quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM. As for the storage, this device comes with 16GB or 32GB of internal storage, but you can expand it up to 64GB thanks to the microSD card slot. This device comes with 5 Megapixel main camera and a 1.3 Megapixel camera for video calls.

Additional features include AGPS/GPS/GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.0, dual-band WiFi 802.11b/g/n with WiFi Direct support and AllShare DLNA connectivity. Galaxy Note 8.0 should work on quad-band 850/900/1900/2100 HSPA+ 21Mbps mobile networks, and regarding the software, this device runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, and it comes with Dual View, Pop Up Note, Pop Up Video, Smart Stay and Direct Call features.

Samsung plans to release Galaxy Note 8.0 worldwide in second quarter of 2013, but the price remains a mystery.

Samsung announces Samsung Galaxy Camera Wi-Fi only model

Samsung is working hard on its devices, and if you want a smart camera that can share photos with your friends online, today we have the perfect device for you.



Samsung Galaxy Camera Wi-Fi comes with 16.3-megapixel CMOS sensor, a 23mm wide-angle lens, and 21x optical zoom. This camera supports ISO range from 100 to 3200, and it can record 1080p HD video at 30fps, and 768 x 512 video in slow motion (120fps). Samsung Galaxy Camera Wi-Fi uses 4.8-inch HD Super Clear display, 1.4GHz quad-core processor, and 8GB of built-in storage. However, if you need more space, this camera comes with microSD slot, and it supports SDSC, SDHC, and SDXC cards. As for the software, this camera runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and it comes preloaded with Google services such as YouTube, Maps, Talk, Places, Chrome, and the Play Store.

Samsung Galaxy Camera Wi-Fi is same as the previous model, but it doesn't have 3G/4G mobile connection, and therefore, it relies solely on WiFi. There's no information about pricing, but we expect this model to be a bit cheaper than its predecessor.
