Lenovo IdeaCentre A720: Slimmest 27-inch All-in-one PC in the the world

Lenovo has released it latest all-in-one PC, and according to Lenovo, this is the world's slimmest 27-inch all-in-one PC.



IdeaCentre A720 comes with slim and sleek design and with the display mount that can be adjusted from -5 degree to 90 degree angle. In addition, you can even fold your screen flat and use it as a tablet thanks to the 10-point multitouch 27-inch 1920×1080 Full HD touchscreen display.

There are three IdeaCentre A720 models available and each of these three models is powered by Intel's Ivy Bridge 3rd gen Core i7-3610QM processor, 8GB of RAM and NVIDIA GeForce GT630 graphics with 2GB video RAM. In addition, all three models have 1TB hard drive, Blu-ray combo drive, 6-in-1 card reader, WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity, 720p HD webcam, and HDMI output.

Base model A720-25645CU is priced about $1,899.00, while the A720-25646CU model with built-in TV tuner costs $1559.20. The last model, A720-25647CU, costs $1,679.20 and it has 64GB SSD and TV tuner built-in.

Latest tablets: Microsoft Surface for Windows RT and Windows 8 Pro

Although there are all sorts of tablets on the market, Microsoft has recently announced its latest tablet called Microsoft Surface so, let us have a closer look at it.



According to the reports, there are two versions of this tablet available, Surface for Windows RT and Surface for Windows 8 Pro. Both these tablets come with an all-magnesium VaporMg case and a built-in kickstand. Surface for Windows RT is powered by NVIDIA's Tegra 3 quad-core processor, and it features 10.6-inch ClearType HD touchscreen as well as a micro HDMI video output.

As for storage, this tablet comes with 32GB or 64GB of internal storage space, and it has USB 2.0 port and a microSD card slot. Surface for Windows RT is just 9.3mm thick and it weighs 676g, and it supports WiFi connectivity thanks to 2×2 MIMO antennae. As for the battery, this tablet comes with 31.5 W-h battery. Surface for Windows 8 Pro comes with Intel Ivy Bridge 3rd gen Core processor, 10.6-inch ClearType touchscreen with Full HD resolution. This tablet comes with microSDXC card slot, USB 3.0 and Mini DisplayPort, and it also supports WiFi. As for storage, Surface for Windows 8 comes with 64GB and 128GB of storage, and it uses battery with 42 W-h capacity. As for size, this tablet is 13.5mm thick and it weighs 903g.

Microsoft also plans to release Touch Cover and Type Cover that will make typing simpler and easier and protect your tablet at the same time. As for availability and pricing of these tablets, no information is available so far.
