Posted: 14 Jun 2012 04:05 AM PDT

You might remember floating Silhouette lamp that we covered a while ago, and if you're fan of floating furniture, today we have something special for you.

After floating lamps, today we have a floating bed that we want to show you. Reddit user mememetatata has managed to create a floating bed with $1,000 budget, and according to him, this bed is so strong and it can hold a single person with maximum weight of 250 pounds. In order to float, this bed is using strong neodymium rare earth magnets as its base, and it stays in a single position while floating using a thick steel cable. This is one of a kind bed, and probably the first floating bed in the world, and we can say that mememetatata did an amazing job with it, although we don't know how comfortable this bed is.

This floating bed looks amazing, and if you want one, make sure that you gather $1,000 and ask mememetatata for instructions.
