Kinect for Windows coming this summer

If you are a fan of Microsoft Kinect, and you want to use Kinect on your PC, you'll be pleased to know that Kinect for Windows has been announced.



Kinect for Windows v2 sensor and software developer kit for it were announced recently, and the release of SDK will allow developers to create all sorts of Windows Store app with Kinect support. The sensor itself has been improved and it comes with enhanced fidelity, video definition, field of view, depth perception, and skeletal tracking. In addition, the device has better overall precision, improved responsiveness as well as support for 1080p HD video, so you'll be able to stand closer to the sensor, and you won't be using as much room space as with previous model.

Kinect for Windows v2 sounds like an improvement, and with the release of SDK, we're hoping to see all sorts of interesting apps. As for the release, we're expecting to see this device available this summer.

The hard drive looks smooth and it will work in both horizontal and vertical orientation, and since it comes with USB 3.0 support it will provide you with fast transfer speeds.

Toshiba Canvio Desk Desktop External Hard Drive offers a lot, and each device comes with three-year limited warranty. As for the price, 4TB and 5TB models are priced at $249.99 and $299.99, respectively.

Leaked: Huawei is working on a new premium device

Huawei has released some decent devices in the past, but according to the latest leaked information, it seems that Huawei is working on a new premium device.



According to the leaked information, Huawei is working on a premium device that comes with metal case, so it resembles iPhone or HTC One M8 a bit. The name of this device is still unknown, but we do know that this smartphone will be powered by octa-core Kirin 920 processor with an integrated ARM Mali-T628 GPU and dual-channel DDR3 800MHz RAM. Additional specs include 2560×1600 display resolution, 32MP camera as well as LTE capability.

This device sounds impressive, although the name of this device and much information remains unknown. Huawei hasn't confirmed this device, so there's no information regarding availability or price, and since this is just leaked information bear in mind that specs can change in the future, and we'll just have to wait for some official information.
