Leaked: Huawei Ascend P6S hardware specs

Posted: 09 Dec 2013 02:26 AM PST

We wrote about Huawei Ascend P6S not a while ago, and speaking of which, today we have some leaked information regarding this smartphone.

As you might remember, Huawei president, Xu Xin Quan said that Huawei Ascend P6S will be an octa-core device, however, the leaked specs says otherwise. Leaked information says that this device comes with upgraded quad-core K3V2 Cortex A9 processor that is used on its predecessor. We have to point out that this processor could deliver better performance and lower power consumption thanks to the 28nm manufacturing process and 1.6GHz clock speed. Ascend P6S comes with 16GB of internal storage space, but there's also microSD memory card slot available if you need more storage space. Regarding the size, this model is 3mm thicker compared to Ascend P6. As for the software, this device runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and it uses Huawei Emotion UI 1.6.

Huawei Ascend P6S seems great, but bear in mind that this is just leaked information, and nothing has been officially confirmed by Huawei.

Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 sounds great, but we wonder how will Multi-Window feature work on a 4-inch screen. Bear in mind that this is just leaked information, so we're waiting for official announcement.
