OrbSys recycling shower system saves water and energy

Posted: 25 Dec 2013 10:01 PM PST

Personal hygiene is quite important, but have you thought how much water is wasted during the ordinary shower or a bath? If you're concerned about the environment and you want to save some money as well, you might be interested in this new kind of shower.

OrbSys comes from Sweden, and according to its creators, it's a recycling shower that can save up to 90% of water and 80% of energy consumed. In order to preserve water and power this shower uses a closed-loop, recirculating system that purifies and recycles the waste water over and over again. This system sounds great, and it's already being used on International Space Station. OrbSys might be just what you need, especially if you're concerned about environment or if you simply want to save energy and money.

OrbSys might change the way how we shower forever and it's a step towards more eco-friendly future. Sadly, we don't know how much this recycling shower costs or when we will see it available in our homes.
