Posted: 31 Dec 2013 04:29 AM PST

In the past we covered smart clothes and if you're looking for piece of clothing that will work with your smartphone, today we have the perfect thing for you.

Motiif M looks like regular trench coat, but unlike regular trench coat it can work as a WiFi hotspot or smartphone charger. In order to do this, this smart trench coat uses Karma's pay-as-you-go network to provide you with data connectivity. All Motiif M users will have 1GB per month of data available for free for first three months, but after that they'll need to pay $14 a month in order to use this service. As for the charging, the charger is located in the chest area, and it will work with all sorts of devices, including iPhone. We also have to point out that wireless charging is supported as well, but phones without wireless charging support will require a special case for it.

Motiif M trench coat is one of a kind device and we should see it available for sale in February 2014, but the price remains a mystery.

Top 3 priorities to remember when using a QR code generator

Posted: 31 Dec 2013 01:34 AM PST

A survey was recently conducted on a group of over 500 college students located at different campuses throughout the United States. Based on the results of the study, it became clear that four out of every five students surveyed owned a smartphone of some kind. However, only one out of every five was able to use their devices to scan a quick response (QR) code when presented with one.
Over three-fourths of the entire group of students that were surveyed stated that they would more than likely not even bother scanning a QR code if they saw one. This is primarily because most companies have not done a good enough job at instilling an urgent need to respond to these images within their key demographic. It may seem nearly impossible to achieve such a goal, but paying close attention to three top priorities will help to overcome this obstacle and deliver promising results.

These Codes Are Not Road Maps
A major mistake that many companies seem to make when using the best QR code generator available is to develop images that basically serve as road maps, connecting prospective customers to the homepages of their websites. This is not the proper incentive to use in order to lure your target audience into scanning your generated images. They are looking for something that they could not get from a basic advertising flyer or business card – in other words, more information.
Providing a quick trip to your website is nowhere near as effective as using these images to encourage customers to download a free eBook on a helpful topic that is somehow related to your market and niche. If you want to put the very best QR code generator to work for you and your brand, then you need to have attractive bait that is actually going to draw the fish toward your net instead of the nets of your competitors.

Give Them Something to Use Right Now
You have to be able to paint the picture of urgency, making them believe that if they wait any longer to scan your image then they are putting themselves at risk of missing out on a grand opportunity that may not be available tomorrow. That is the type of energy that you need to create through using the best QR code generator available in order to truly put these images to work. Your customers should be racing to pull out their smartphones and scan your image as if they are racing against a time clock. By having a promotional code or online discount that is only good for the rest of the day, you will be able to achieve your goal and increase your QR code response rate.

Test the Formatting and Function of the Image
It does not matter if you use the worst or the best QR code generator that is currently available. If you do not take the time to test the images that you have created, then you are just wasting your time because they will be absolutely worthless to you. You could possibly even lose consumers after they spend several minutes trying to link themselves to this empty promise that you are not able to deliver. Therefore, take the time to test your QR codes to make sure that they work on a wide variety of different mobile devices and scanning applications. Even though this might seem like a lot of work on the front end, you will be glad that you put in the time and effort required to make this system work when you are reaping the long-term benefits later.
