Advent Vega Tegra Note 7 tablet launched in UK

Android devices are everywhere, and if you're looking for an Android tablet, you might be interested in today's device that comes from Advent.



Advent Vega Tegra Note 7 is a 7-inch device and it comes with IPS LCD multi touch display, and it uses 1280×800 pixel resolution with 215dpi. As for the hardware, this device is powered by Nvidia Tegra 4 quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM. Regarding the storage, there's 16GB of internal memory and as for the graphics there's 72 Core Geforce GPU. Additional features include Bluetooth 4.0, 802.11 b/g/n wireless connectivity, microUSB port and micro HDMI connection. There's also a 2 megapixel front-facing camera for video calls, 5 megapixel rear camera, and there's a DirectStylus Pen for taking notes. As for the size, this tablet measures 120 x 190 x 9.4 mm. Regarding the software, there's Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

Advent Vega Tegra Note 7 is a powerful 7-inch tablet, and as for the price, you can get this model for £180 in the UK.

Bublcam: First camera that can record 360 degree video

There are all sorts of cameras on the market, but if you're into taking panoramic pictures, this unusual camera might be just what you need.



Bublcam is designed to record 360 degree video, and it can also take 14-megapixel spherical photos. As for the record, this camera can record full HD video in 1080p in 360 degrees at 15 frames per second, but it can also record 720p video at 30 frames per second. This camera has been in development for 2 years and will capture the 100% of spherical range. There's also the bubl software that allows users to look in every direction and fully interact with the created content.

Bublcam is one of a kind camera that can capture 360 degree HD video or still images, and as for the price, this device should cost around $750 when it launches next year. This camera is currently a Kickstarter project, but it has reached its funding goal, so we're eager to see how does Bublcam work in action.

Quechua rugged 5-inch Android smartphone announced

Being an active person has its benefits, and if you spend a lot of time outdoors you might need a smartphone that won't be damaged as soon as it drops to the floor, and today's rugged smartphone might be just what you need.



If you're into mountain climbing then you're probably familiar with Quechua brand, and this company has teamed up with smartphone maker Archos to create a rugged smartphone that will be perfect for those who spend a lot of time outdoors. Quecha's rugged 5-inch Android-powered smartphone is resistant to shock, mud, water, sand, snow and extremely cold temperatures, so it will work in harsh environments. Regarding the specs, this device comes with 5-inch HD display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor on a Qualcomm chipset, 1GB of DDR3 RAM, 4GB of internal memory, microSD card slot, 3,500 mAh battery and reinforced rear-facing camera. There's also 3G HSPA, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS and a microUSB port, and as for software this smartphone runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

If you're an outdoor person Quecha's rugged 5-inch Android-powered smartphone might be just what you need, and as for the price, it's priced at €230 ($313), but there's no information regarding the availability.

QV830 and QV1030 tablets from Gigaset announced

Tablets are everywhere, and speaking of which, if you're looking for a tablet, you might want to have a closer look at two models coming from Gigaset.



Gigaset has announced two models, QV830 and QV1030 and these devices come with 8-inch and 10.1-inch displays. QV830 is made of anodized aluminum at the back, and it comes with scratch-resistant display, and as for QV1030, this model uses 2560 x 1600 resolution with 300 dpi density. As for the hardware, there's quad-core 1.8GHz Nvidia T40S Cortex A15 processor, 8-megapixel camera with dual-LED flash, 8GB of internal memory on QV830 and 16GB memory on QV1030. Both tablets come with microSD card slot for expansion, and both of them are running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

Gigaset QV830 and QV1030 sound like decent devices, and as for availability, they should be available for sale someday in December. As for the price, QV830 and QV1030 are priced at EUR 199 and EUR 369, respectively.
