Archos is working on flagship smartphone and new tablets

There are all sorts of smartphone / tablet manufacturers, and if you're interested in devices from alternative manufacturers, you might be interested in new devices that come from Archos.



According to the reports, it seems that Archos plans to announce a new flagship smartphone called Archos 50 Oxygen. As for the hardware, this device should use Full HD IPS display, quad-core 1.5GHz processor, 13-megapixel camera at the back, and 5-megapixel camera for video calls. In addition, there's 16GB of internal storage space, and as for the software, Archos 50 Oxygen should run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. In addition, Archos plans to release new tablets as well, and we should see Archos 97b Platinum HD, Archos 101 XS 2 as well as Archos 80 ChildPad and the Archos 101 ChildPad tablets someday in the future.

Geeky: Nintendo 64 Book Case Mod

Nintendo 64 was a huge hit, and we already covered N64 Controller Pillow, and today have another geeky creation inspired by Nintendo 64, so let's have a closer look at it.



If you're a fan of Nintendo 64, but at the same time, you're a fan of reading books, you might be interested in this geeky creation made by Reddit user JHood_. Nintendo 64 Book Case Mod is made from leather box that resembled an actual book, and JHood_ carved it out and placed Nintendo 64's hardware inside. This case mod comes with Nintendo 64 logo, start button, and ports for the controllers, but JHood_ didn't add the reset button. We have to mention that this is JHood_'s first case mod, and for the first case mod, this one look amazing.

Nintendo 64 Book Case Mod looks visually stunning, and although it has some flaws, it will be perfect if you're fan of books and Nintendo 64. Sadly, this case mod isn't available for sale.
