Toshiba Encore: 8-inch Windows 8.1 tablet announced

Toshiba has been in the spotlight lately, and speaking of which, today we have another device coming from this company, so let’s check it out.



Toshiba Encore is an 8-inch multi-touch device, and it's powered by Intel Atom processor. As we said, this device uses 8-inch display with 1280 x 800 resolution. As for for other specs, this tablet comes with 32GB of internal memory, a micro USB 2.0 port, a microSD memory card slot and Wi-Fi.

This device uses Windows 8.1, and it comes with dual microphones and Dolby Digital Plus audio processing. Each Toshiba Encore device comes with Office Home & Student 2013, Xbox Smart Glass app, a free streaming pass to Xbox Music, and Norton Anti-theft software. This device measures 0.42" in thickness, and it weighs 479 grams.

Toshiba Encore sounds like a great Windows 8.1 tablet, and as for the availability, we should see this device available this November for $329.99 a pop.

The Toshiba Satellite NB15T comes with 11.6-inch touchscreen display that is optimized for Windows 8. Regarding the hardware, Toshiba Satellite NB15T laptop comes with Intel Celeron N2810 dual-core processor. As for the storage, there's 500GB available for your files. Toshiba Satellite NB15T also features 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi connectivity, Ethernet, USB 3.0 and HDMI ports, and an HD webcam. We have to mention that stereo speakers come with DTS audio that delivers rich and natural sound. Toshiba Satellite NB15T is also a lightweight device, so you’ll be able to carry it with you at all times, and as for the weight, this device weighs 3.3 pounds.

Toshiba Satellite NB15T seems like a decent device, and we should see it available from November onward. As for the price, starting price for this device is $379.
