PengPod tablets are known for their Linux support, and PengPod1040 is the latest member of PengPod family. Regarding the hardware, this tablet comes with 9.7-inch display that uses 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution. Regarding the hardware, this tablet is powered by Allwinner A31 ARM Cortex-A7 quad-core processor and 2GB RAM. As for the storage space, there's 16GB of internal memory, and additional features include USB connectivity, WiFi, and front and back camera. One thing that makes PengPod1040 stand from the other tablets is that it comes preloaded with both Android and Ubuntu, so you can use any of them. PengPod1040 offers high-resolution display and dual operating systems, but so far, this tablet is just a Indiegogo project, so we might not even see it, if it doesn't reach its funding goal.
