Facebook Home is a homescreen replacement, and you can download it if you have the most recent Facebook and Facebook Messenger apps installed on your Android Smartphone. With Facebook Home, your screen is replaced by a Cover Feed, which is a stream of full-screen pictures and stories.

In addition, with Facebook Home you can easily see multiple Facebook alerts, or hide them away with a single swipe. Of course, your other apps will be there, and you can easily access them with a single swipe.

Facebook Home brings another feature called Facebook Chat Heads, and it will allow you to have a conversation with your Facebook friends even while using other apps, so you won't have to constantly switch back and forth between the apps.

Facebook Home is compatible with Android Jelly Bean and Ice Cream Sandwich phones, and Facebook has teamed up with AT&T, Orange, Qualcomm, HTC, Samsung, Huawei, Sony, EE, ZTE, Lenovo, and Alcatel in order to bring you enhanced Facebook Home experience. As for phones with Facebook Home pre-installed, HTC and AT&T will release their first phone with Facebook Home, called HTC First, and it will be available on April 12th for $99.99.
