HTC First: First smartphone with Facebook Home preinstalled

As you know, Facebook has announced Facebook Home recently, and speaking of which, today we have the first smartphone that comes with Facebook Home preinstalled.



Facebook and HTC teamed up to develop the first phone with deep Facebook Home integration, and that's how we got HTC First. Speaking of this deep integration, HTC First has some unique features, such as the ability to display non-Facebook notifications on the lock screen.

As for the hardware, HTC First comes with Qualcomm dual-core SnapDragon 400 1.4GHz processor, 1GB of RAM and 4.3-inch 1280x720p HD touchscreen display. In addition, there's a 5 Megapixel camera with BSI, F2.0 aperture, and it supports Full HD 1080p video recording.

In addition, 1.6 Megapixel front facing camera with wide angle is available for video chat. As for the storage, this device has 16GB of internal storage space. Regarding the connectivity, HTC First supports AT&T 4G LTE network for high-speed data connection, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/GLONASS, WiFi 802.11b/g/n and NFC connectivity. As for the software, this device runs on Android 4.1.

If you need a smartphone with deep Facebook integration, HTC First might be perfect for you. As for the availability, HTC First will be available on April 12th from AT&T for $99.99 with a 2-year contract.

CoolPad MAX 7295 Android 4.1 smartphone from China

Chinese mobile manufacturer CoolPad is a well-known brand in China, and speaking of which, this company has launched its latest Android smartphone, so we have decided to have a closer look at it.



CoolPad MAX 7295 is a 5-inch IPS device, and it uses 960×540 resolution and a wide viewing angle. This smartphone comes with 1.2GHz quad-core processor based on 28nm A7 architecture, 1GB RAM and 4GB of internal storage space. CoolPad MAX 7295 comes with 5 Megapixel main camera and a 0.2 Megapixel front camera for video calls. We also have to notice that this smartphone can support dual-SIM, which can be quite useful for some, and WCDMA 3G network. As for the software, CoolPad MAX 7295 is powered by Android 4.1 operating system.

CoolPad MAX 7295 offers decent hardware specs, and it should cost about 1399 Chinese Yuan or $225. Sadly, we don't have any information regarding availability in the United States or Europe.
