Smaller and lighter: Canon EOS Rebel SL1 DSLR camera Posted: 23 Apr 2013 10:25 PM PDT Canon is well-known for its DSLRs, and speaking of which, Canon has released its new DSLR camera that is smaller and lighter than previous models. Canon EOS Rebel SL1, also known as EOS 100D in other countries, measures 116.8 x 90.7 x 69.4mm, and it weighs only 407g. This DSLR comes with 18 Megapixel CMOS APS-C image sensor with ISO range of 100 to 12800, so it provides you with great performance in both low-light and bright conditions. There's also a DIGIC 5 image processor, and this processor allows you to perform 4fps high-speed shooting with high image quality. Canon EOS Rebel SL1 features a nine-point center cross type AF system that gives you fast and sharp focus. This device also comes with Hybrid CMOS AF II sensor providing you with a wider AF area when shooting in Live View mode. EOS Rebel SL1 comes with 3-inch Clear View LCD touchscreen display and an optical viewfinder with 0.87x magnification, and as for the storage, this camera supports SD/SDHC/SDXC and UHS-I cards. Canon EOS Rebel SL1 should be available for $649.99, but if you want new EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM kit lens with it, you'll have to pay $799.99 for it.
