Facebook brings Promoted Posts to the US

In order to keep its service fresh, Facebook is constantly introducing new improvements to its social networking service, and speaking of news and improvements, let's have a look at latest Facebook feature.

Facebook has introduced Promoted Posts feature to the US, and if you're not familiar with it, this feature allows you to advertise selected post to your friends. This feature is already available to 20 different countries, and it is available for people who have less than 5000 friends and subscribers. This feature is pretty straightforward, and after you publish a post, you just click the Promote button beneath it, and the post becomes promoted, and it will be placed on top of the News Feed for your friends. After promoting the post, it will be marked as "Sponsored", and you can check how many more people have seen the post since you paid for its promotion.

Promoted Post feature sounds interesting, especially if you're running a business and you want to advertise yourself, and as for the price, promotion should cost about 7$ for a single post.
