New YotaPhone gets announced, comes with two touchscreen displays

Posted: 25 Mar 2014 10:14 AM PDT

Not a while ago we covered YotaPhone, and if you liked that device, you might be interested in its successor.

Just like the older model, new YotaPhone comes with dual screens, but we have to notice that its e-ink display has been updated and now it comes with touchscreen functionality. We also have to mention that e-ink display measures 4.7-inchs while on the front there's 5-inch Full HD OLED display with 442PPI pixel density. Regarding the hardware, this device is powered by 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm processor, and there's 8-megapixel main camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera and a 2,550mAh battery. In order to save battery there's a power saving mode that turns off the main display and it displays notifications on the e-ink display.

We have to admit that new YotaPhone sounds great, especially if you need a device with two displays. Sadly, we have no information regarding availability or price.
