MSI W20: Windows 8 tablet that runs on AMD processor

AMD and Intel are famous for its processors, and if you're looking for a tablet with AMD processor inside, you might be interested in latest model that comes from MSI.



MSI W20 tablet comes with 11.6-inch IPS touchscreen 1,366 x 768 pixel display and 2GB RAM. This tablet uses AMD dual-core A4-1200 processor, AMD Radeon HD 8180 graphics chipset and 128GB solid state drive for storage. As for additional hardware, there's WiFi and Bluetooth, fingerprint reader, tablet motion sensors and automatic light sensors. We also have to mention that MSI W20 tablet has a built-in battery that can last up to nine hours on a single charge. As for the software, this tablet runs on Windows 8.

MSI W20 tablet sounds impressive, it comes with powerful hardware, so it will be perfect for advanced users. Sadly, we have no information regarding the price, but we doubt that such powerful device will come cheap.

Dell Inspiron 11 3000: Entry-level touchscreen notebook

Entry-level notebooks are perfect for your basic needs, and today we have an entry-level touchscreen notebook that comes from Dell, so let’s have a closer look at it.



Dell Inspiron 11 3000 is the latest addition to the Inspiron series, and this notebook comes with 11.6-inch display, and it's powered by Intel Haswell processor. If you're tight on budget, there will be a model with AMD processor as well. Regarding other hardware specs, this notebook is 0.83-inch thin, and it weighs 3.2 pounds. There's also a touchscreen display with Gorilla Glass for protection. Additional specs include three USB ports, HDMI port, Ethernet jack and SD memory card reader. Regarding the battery, Dell Inspiron 11 3000 should last over eight hours on a full charge.

Dell Inspiron 11 3000 is a perfect entry-level touchscreen notebook, and as for the pricing, starting price for Intel-powered model is $379, but if you want AMD processor instead, starting price is $349.

Asus PadFone Infinity lets you turn your your smartphone into a tablet

You probably remember Asus Pad Fone, and if you're a fan of this unusual smartphone and tablet combo, you'll be pleased to hear that Asus has unveiled a new model.



PadFone Infinity works in a similar way as its predecessor, you have a smartphone than you can use independently, but you can connect it to a special dock that allows you to use it like a tablet. The smartphone itself comes with 5-inch 1920×1080 display, 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM. Regarding the storage, there's a choice between 16GB and 32GB of internal storage, but if that's not enough, there's a microSD card slot for expansion. There's also a 2 megapixel front-facing camera for video calls, 13 megapixel rear camera, and 2400mAh battery. As for the dock, it comes with 10.1-inch 1920×1200 IPS display, and in order to use it, you just need to slide your smartphone into the dedicated slot and you're good to go.

PadFone Infinity is designed for European and Asian markets, and you can get it for $640 in Taiwan, while the tablet dock is priced at $240.

Verizon announces Ellipsis 7 Android tablet

Tablets are everywhere, and if you are looking for affordable Android tablet, we're pleased to inform you that Verizon has announced its own affordable tablet.



Ellipsis 7 tablet comes from Verizon, and although hardware specs weren’t revealed, we know that this tablet will use 7-inch HD display and that it will have front and rear cameras, but sadly, specific information remains undisclosed. Additional features include Verizon's 4G LTE network support, and almost vanilla version of Android Jelly Bean. Speaking of software, Verizon Ellipsis 7 tablet should use Verizon Messages app that will allow users to send and receive text messages. There's also RedBox instant streaming service, so you can enjoy in all sorts of online multimedia with this tablet.

Ellipsis 7 tablet sounds interesting, and we're looking forward for more information regarding this tablet. As for the pricing, you can get Ellipsis 7 without a contract for $249.99, starting from November 7th.
