We heard rumors that Amazon is working on its own smartphone, and that we should see this smartphone available someday in 2014, and speaking of which, today we have more information regarding this device.

According to the Apple Insider, this new device from Amazon will use advanced 3D gestures and eye-tracking input. This seems to match the rumors about this device, and speaking of rumors, it seems that Amazon has partnered with three compact camera module makers in order to bring you these features. Regarding the cameras, this device comes with six cameras, and four of these are VGA cameras placed at the corners of the phone, while the remaining two are 13 megapixel rear-facing camera and 12 megapixel front camera for video calls. Additional specs include 4.7-inch touchscreen display and quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. Regarding the operating system, we expect to see same operating system that is used on Kindle Fire tablets.

This smartphone seems promising, and 3D gestures sound interesting enough, but so far, we have no official information about this device.
