HAPIfork smart fork keeps track of your eating habits

When eating, it's quite important that you chew your food properly, and speaking of which, today we have a special device that might help you with that.



HAPIfork is a "smart fork" and it comes with a capacitive sensor that is triggered by biting, so this device can measure how fast you're eating. HAPIfork double-checks the fork's motion and contact data thus providing you with precise number of bites. Once you've done with your meal, you can connect the fork to a computer and access Hapilab's cloud service in order to check your eating statistics. In addition to recording your eating statistics, HAPIfork will also keep track of how frequently you put food in your mouth, and if you're eating too fast, it will warn you with a gentle vibration.

HAPIfork sounds interesting, and if you want to eat properly, this smart fork might be perfect for you. As for the availability, HAPIfork has become a Kickstarter project, so we should see it available soon enough.

Rumor: Xbox One might let you play games remotely over Skype

As you know, Xbox One has been officially announced, and speaking of which, today we have some rumors about it, so let's have a closer look at them.



New feature of Xbox One is multitasking, and now you can have Skype opened side by side while playing games or watching movies. According to the latest rumor, you will be able to to play remotely on someone else's console directly from a Skype call. Of course, you would be able to stop remote access at any given time. As for this feature, it's still in testing phases, so many details remain a mystery. For example, we don't know how long can a gaming session last, or whether both sides are required to own the same game in order this to work.

This feature sounds interesting enough, but it hasn't been officially confirmed by Microsoft, so we'll just have to sit and wait for the official announcement.
