3D Printed Light Speakers made by Evan Atherton

Posted: 13 May 2013 10:00 PM PDT

3D printing became quite popular over the past few years, and we saw all sorts of 3D printed devices, but today we have something special.

Autodesk engineer, Evan Atherton has made 3D printed speakers as a part of his design exercise. These sphere-like speakers come with LumiGeek-powered LEDs, so we have to admit that they look amazing. As for the sound quality, and sound output power, we have no information what type of speakers did Evan Atherton use. Nevertheless, we have to give credit to Evan, since he has created something amazing, and it took him about 60 hours to create these speakers.

These 3D speakers are amazing, but they are just a concept idea that has been turned into reality by Evan Atherton, so you won't be able to purchase them. However, you can create your own set of 3D printed speakers but you'll need a lot of printing material, time, money and patience.
