StarTech Portable USB flash duplicator makes copying a breeze

Copying files from one USB flash to another might be a tedious and slow process, but luckily for you, today we have a device that might help you out, and speed this process up a bit.



StarTech has announced its new device called portable USB flash duplicator, and this device is designed so it can duplicate up to two USB 2.0 devices at once with a single press of a button. In addition to copying USB drives, this device can also delete them according to the US Department of Defense standards, so you can easily and permanently delete your sensitive data. In addition to the USB flash drives, portable USB flash duplicator is also compatible with hard drives, SD, SDHC, microSD, MMC, Mini SD, and CF memory cards thanks to the card readers and USB 2.0 enclosures. Additional features include integrated LCD display and LED indicators that inform you about the status of the current operation.

StarTech portable USB flash duplicator is an interesting device, and its only flaw is the lack of USB 3.0 compatibility. As for the price, this device costs $212.

ZenDock combines all of your ports into a single aluminum block so you can easily attach all your USB devices simply by plugging ZenDock to your MacBook. ZenDock Pro is designed to work with MacBook Pros, and it supports gigabit Ethernet, FireWire, Mini DisplayPort, 3 x USB 3.0 ports, along with audio input and output. ZenDock Retina model supports Mini DisplayPort, 3 x USB 3.0 ports, audio in and out ports, along with a Thunderbolt passthrough connection. Both ZenDock Pro and ZenDock Retina feature a slot for the MagSafe power cable.

ZenDock is currently a Kickstarter project, but it has reached its funding, so we're expecting you'll be able to purchase your own soon for $139.
