Kobo Arc 7HD Tablet Announced

Recently Kobo Arc 10HD was announced, but if you're looking for a something smaller, then Kobo Arc 7HD might be just what you need.



Kobo Arc 7HD comes with NVIDIA Tegra 3 1.7GHz quad-core processor, and 7-inch display that uses 1,920 x 1,200 resolution. This device also has 1GB RAM and it can easily support 1080p video playback. Additional hardware specs include front-facing 1.3 megapixel HD camera for video calls, and built-in battery that can last up to eight hours on a single charge. As for the internal memory, there will be two models available, one with 16GB memory and one with 32GB of storage space. Regarding the operating system, we don’t know what version of Android operating system this device uses.

Kobo Arc 7HD has a lot to offer to its users, but we don't know if there's a microSD card slot for expansion. As for the price, 16GB and 32GB models are priced at $199.99 and $249.99, respectively.

Apple announces iPhone 5C budget-friendly smartphone

As you know, Apple has announced iPhone 5S, but in addition, Apple has announced another budget-friendly iPhone, so let's have a closer look at it.



iPhone 5C comes with a case made from hard-coated polycarbonate, and it's steel-reinforced from the inside, so the structure also serves as the antenna.

Regarding the hardware, iPhone 5C comes with A6 processor, 4-inch Retina Display, and 8-megapixel iSight rear camera. This device comes with better battery than iPhone 5, and there's a new FaceTime HD camera on the front.

In addition, iPhone 5C supports more LTE bands than any other smartphone, according to Apple. There's also a dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 available as well.

iPhone 5C will be available in green, white, blue, pink and yellow, and it should be available in U.S., Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Japan, Singapore and the UK on September 20th. Pre-orders are starting on September 13th, and as for the price, 16GB and 32GB models are priced at $99 and $199 respectively with a two-year contract.

iPhone 5S announced, coming September 20th

iPhone 5 was a huge hit, and Apple has just unveiled iPhone 5S, so let's see what does this device have to offer.



iPhone 5S comes with new A7 64-bit chip, and it provides users with 15% performance boost. In addition, there's 1GB-3GB of RAM and 16GB-64GB of storage space. Regarding the camera, new iPhone comes with five-lens camera with an f2.2 aperture. New sensor has 15% larger surface, and it uses "bigger pixels", so in theory that give us 33% increase in brightness.

iOS Camera app has been improved as well, and now it will snap several pictures and let you choose the best one. This process is done in background, but you can do it in 10FPS burst mode. The camera uses 15 zones of light metering in order to set the parameters in auto mode, and the new LED flash can reproduce about 1000 tones ranging from cold to warm. As for the video recording, there's a 120FPS slow-motion mode in 720p for action shots.

One of the new features is the Touch ID, and it's a sensor that is placed in a home button and protected by sapphire glass. Touch ID is a fingerprint scanner, and it has 500 ppi resolution. As for the Touch ID, it will support multiple fingerprints, so you can unlock it with any of your fingers. In addition, iPhone 5s comes with M7 Coprocessor, and this tiny ultra-low power processor keeps track of internal sensors.

iPhone 5S sounds great, and as for the price, the 16GB model should cost $199 while the 32GB is priced at $299, with a two-year contract. As for the availability, we should see iPhone 5S in U.S, Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Japan (KDDI and DoCoMo), Singapore and the U.K on September 20. As for pre-orders, they are starting on September 13.
