We see all sorts of geeky devices every day, but today we have a special geeky DIY project that combines Star Wars and knitting into one.

These geeky needles started as a Instructables project, and if you want your own pair of geeky knitting needles, you'll need clear lucite rods, some small LED keychain-sized flashlights, red and green replacement LEDs. We have to admit that these Lightsaber Knitting Needles look amazing, and only flaw is that they don't produce lightsaber sounds when you move them.

Pong Gold Reveal case protects you from smartphone radiation

Pong, maker of smartphone cases, and design company Ideo have teamed up and created smartphone case called the Gold Reveal. This case is a protective case, and it will protect you from smartphone radiation, but unlike other protective cases, this case won't add extra bulk to your device. Gold Reveal case comes with built-in golden-hued antenna that works with phone's antenna, so it draws radiation from the front to the back side of your smartphone.
