Power Pockets: Sleeping bag that charges your smartphone

Battery life is quite important, and if tend to run out of battery on your smartphone, there are all sorts of chargers available on the market, and speaking of which, today we have one unusual charger for you.



You've heard about chargers that can transform your kinetic energy into electricity, but if you're not an active person, this device might be perfect for you. Vodafone and scientists from the University of Southampton have created a unique sleeping bag called the Power Pockets, and this sleeping bag can recharge your smartphone as you sleep. This device uses thermoelectric power generators in order to convert some of your body heat into electrical energy as you sleep, thus charging your smartphone. Spending eight hours in the bag will give you enough power for 11 hours in standby mode and additional 24 minutes of talk time.

Power Pockets sounds great, especially if you love camping, but information regarding availability and price remain undisclosed.

Androidly Smart Watch runs on Android

Smart devices are everywhere, and after smartphones, smart digital cameras and smart TVs, today we have a smart watch that runs on Android OS.



Androidly Smart Watch is the first full featured Android timepiece, and this device can do all the things just like your regular smartphone. This device comes with 2-inch capacitive touchscreen display, so you can make and receive phone calls, create text messages, or enjoy in your favorite music and video games. In addition, you also have full access to Google Play Store. Additional specs include 2-megapixel camera, GPS support, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, as well as male USB port at the end of the watch strap. Androidly Smart Watch is small but functional device, and its developers claim that it's the world's smallest Android device.

Androidly Smart Watch sounds great, although its small screen might be a deal breaker for some. This device is collecting funding and if it reaches its funding goal we should see this device available for $229 to $269.
