KIRAbook: Latest notebook from Toshiba

Toshiba is famous for its notebooks, and if you're looking for a new notebook from Toshiba, you might want to check out today's model.



KIRAbook comes with AZ91 pressed magnesium alloy housing, along with the honeycomb-base, and it also uses PixelPure ultra high-resolution display. Regarding the display, this Ultrabook comes with 13.3-inch display that has a 2560×1440 resolution and 221ppi density.

We have to point out that there will be both regular and touchscreen models available, and as for the touchscreen models, they will use Corning's Concore Glass for protection and they will support 10-point multitouch. Regarding the hardware, KIRAbook uses Intel's Core i5-2227U 1.8GHz or Core i7-3537U 2GHz processor, integrated Intel HD graphics, 8GB of RAM, and 256 SSD for storage. Additional specs include frameless LED-backlit keyboard, touchpad with Windows 8 gesture support, HD webcam, SD/SDHC/SDXC card reader, Bluetooth 4.0, dual-band WiFi 802.11b/g/n, and three USB 3.0 connectors.

There's also HDMI along with Intel Wireless Display (WiDi) support. Regarding the battery, this notebook comes with 4-cell Lithium Polymer battery pack that can last up to six hours. As for the software, KIRAbook is equipped with Windows 8, Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 and Premiere Elements 11.

KIRAbook is an amazing notebook, and as for the price, the i5 model is priced at $1599.99 while the i5 touchscreen model costs $1799.99. As for the touchscreen i7 model, you can get it for $1,999.99.

Vega Iron (IM-A870S/K/L) is powered by Qualcomm SnapDragon 600 1.7Ghz quad-core processor and 2GB or RAM. In addition, there's also a 2 Megapixel front-facing camera for video calls and taking self-portraits.
