Confirmed: Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 will use Intel Atom Z2560 Clover Trail+ processor

Recently we have covered Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 announcement, and as you know, Samsung didn't disclose what processor will Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 use, but today we have official information about it, so let’s have a closer look.

There were speculations that Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 could use Intel's processor, and Intel has confirmed this by releasing an official press release. According to the press release, it seems that Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 will use Intel Atom Z2560 Clover Trail+ processor. In addition to the Atom Z2560 dualcore 1.6GHz processor, this tablet comes with 1.5GB of RAM, 10.1 inch display, 6,800mAh battery and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. As for the Intel Atom Z2560 Clover Trail+ processor, Intel claims that this processor triples the graphics capabilities and doubles the performance of Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 without compromising the battery life.

We have to say that this processor sounds impressive, but sadly, release date and pricing still remains a mystery.

As you know, Asus MeMo Pad HD 7 has been announced, but Asus has also announced another tablet, so let's have a closer look at it.

ASUS MeMo Pad FHD 10 is a 10-inch Android tablet that uses Full HD display. As for the hardware, this tablet is powered by Intel's dual-core 1.6GHz ATOM chipset from the Clover Trail+ family and 2GB of RAM. Regarding the storage space, ASUS MeMo Pad FHD 10 comes with 16GB or 32GB of internal memory. This tablet uses dual cameras, and it has 5 megapixel camera on the rear, and a 1.2 megapixel camera on the front for video calls. As for connectivity, MeMo Pad FHD 10 supports WiFi N, Bluetooth 3.0, and GPS. This tablet comes with Android 4.2 right out of the box, and it's available in two different colors: black and white.
