Rumor: PlayStation 4 hardware specs revealed

PlayStation 3 was a huge success, and it seems that Sony is working hard on their next home console, and speaking of which, we have some information about Sony's upcoming home console.



According to the reports, Sony PlayStation 4 should use eight-core AMD64 CPU and a AMD R10XX GPU, at leasts that's what the developer kits is using, but keep in mind that the hardware specs might change for the final version. As for other improvements, you'll be able to sign in with several PlayStation Network accounts simultaneously, and this could be useful if you want to earn achievements and unlocks while playing with your friends on a single screen. In addition, the controller has got a makeover as well, and although it looks like DualShock controller, it comes with capacitive touchpad.

This information hasn't been confirmed by Sony, so you should keep in mind that hardware specifications of PlayStation 4 might change in the future.
