Share files around the world securely with Transporter

Posted: 26 Dec 2012 02:30 AM PST

Sharing your files is rather simple with cloud services, and speaking of which, cloud services aren't always safe, and they come with monthly fees, but today we have a device that might change the way how we share our files.

Transporter is a device that should give us a new way to share, access and protect files with other Transporter users around the world. In order to use Transporter, you just need to create a free account, add users to your sharing list, and any files that you have added will appear on other Transporter devices that are on your sharing list. In addition, developers of Transporter also stated that there won't be file type or file size limitations.

Transporter sounds interesting, especially because there are no monthly fees or privacy concerns, but you're limited to sharing only with other Transporter users. As for availability, Transporter is a Kickstarter project for now, but it won't take long for it to become a reality.

Dynamic D*Haus: Futuristic house that changes its shape

Posted: 25 Dec 2012 07:53 AM PST

We saw all sorts of amazing devices, and some of them were quite futuristic, and today we have a futuristic house that can change its shape.

Two designers from UK, David Ben Grünberg and Daniel Woolfson have developed the first house that can change its shape according to the weather season. This house is called Dynamic D*Haus, and according to the designers, it can transform into eight different shapes. The design of this futuristic house was inspired by Henry Dudeney’s mathematical formula, called the Haberdasher’s Puzzle, that is comprised of four equilateral triangles that form a square. Dynamic D*Haus was designed to sustain the harsh weather conditions in Lapland, but with its futuristic design, it should be perfect for any location.

Dynamic D*Haus is one of a kind house, and currently, it's available for display at London’s Anise Gallery. Who knows, someday in the future, Dynamic D*Haus might become an everyday sight.
