Posted: 10 Dec 2012 02:39 AM PST

We saw edible devices in the past, such as Survival Senbei iPhone 5 Case, and today we have another edible device, so let's have a closer look at it.

Bite Me desk lamp is made by New York-based designer Victor Vetterlein, and what separates this lamp from other desk lamps is that you can easily eat it. Bite Me desk lamp is made from biodegradable plastic that is derived from vegetable glycerin and agar. Before you actually eat your desk lamp, make sure that you remove all electronic components, and soak the plastic parts into warm water so it can soften up. After being submerged into warm water for an hour, the plastic will become soft and ready for consumption. We also have to mention that Bite Me desk lamp comes in several flavors, such as cherry, apple, orange, and blueberry.

Bite Me desk lamp is a unique, and probably the only desk lamp that you can actually eat. Sadly, there's no information regarding pricing or availability.
