Parrot Zikmu Solo: Wireless speaker tower that plays audio via Bluetooth, WiFi and LAN

If you're not pleased with built-in speakers on your smartphone or tablet, and you want to boost the volume a bit, you might be interested in today's wireless speaker.


Parrot is launching Zikmu Solo wireless speaker tower that comes with Bluetooth, WiFi as well as NFC wireless connectivity. As for the speakers, on the upper part of speaker tower there are three loudspeakers, along with two 20W HARP (High Aspect Ratio Panel) drivers.

In order to provide you with deep bass, Zikmu Solo has a 6-inch 40W Neodymium woofer on the bottom part that distributes sound at 360°. Thanks to Bluetooth connection, you can easily stream music from any Bluetooth device, and thanks to NFC technology, you can pair Android 4.1 smartphone or newer with a single tap. You can also connect Zikmu Solo to home network via WiFi and stream music from your PC or Mac using UPnP and DLNA protocols.

If for some reason you don't want to use WiFi, there's also Ethernet LAN port available as well. Speaking of wired connection, there's also a digital optical input for high-quality 24 bit sound, and a 3.5mm Line-in jack. And in case you own iPhone or iPod, you can dock it for music playback or recharging at the top of the Zikmu Solo speaker.

Zikmu Solo comes with a remote control and a Parrot Audio Suite app, and as for the price and availability, Parrot's Zikmu Solo is available in classic black and arctic white, and it is priced at $999.
