LG Optimus G Pro L-04E smartphone coming to Japan

LG is famous for its devices, and speaking of LG, it seems that this company is releasing a new smartphone in Japan.



NTT DoCoMO, a mobile network operator in Japan, has announced LG Optimus G Pro L-04E smartphone as a part of their 2013 Sprint Collection. As for the hardware, this smartphone comes with 5-inch Full HD 1920×1080 IPS LCD touchscreen display, Qualcomm SnapDragon S4 Pro APQ8064 quad-core chip and 2GB of RAM. LG Optimus G Pro L-04E comes with 3000mAh high-capacity battery, 3 Megapixel main camera and a 1.9 Megapixel front-facing camera, and both of these cameras come with BSI CMOS image sensor. As for connectivity, there's a NFC, GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi as well as LTE support. LG Optimus G Pro L-04E comes with 32GB of built-in storage, but there's also a microSD/SDHC/SDXC slot for expansion. Regarding the software, this smartphone comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

LG Optimus G Pro L-04E offers decent specs, and we should see it available for sale in April, however, the price remains a mystery.

Lenovo ThinkPad Helix: Windows 8 hybrid tablet

If you're fan of hybrid devices, you might be interested in today's Ultrabook/tablet hybrid that comes from Lenovo.



ThinkPad Helix comes from Lenovo, and it consists of a 11.6-inch tablet and a keyboard base. As for the tablet, it comes with 11.6-inch Full HD 1080p IPS 10-finger multitouch display and a ThinkPad touch pen that provides you with easy navigation.

This device is powered by Intel's 3rd gen Core processor up to Core i7-3667U, Intel HD 4000 graphics and up to 8GB of RAM. As for the storage, there's a 256GB SSD, and additional specifications include WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, NFC and LTE 4G connectivity.

There's also a 5 Megapixel main camera, 2 Megapixel front camera, miniDisplay Port output, USB 3.0 port, and a Dolby Home Theater v4 sound. Thanks to the built-in battery, this tablet can last up to 6 hours, and up to 10 hours when used as a laptop. As for the software, this device runs on Windows 8 x86.

Lenovo ThinkPad Helix might be perfect if you need a hybrid tablet/laptop device. Regarding the availability, we should see this device in late February for $1499.
